JK Anowe, Nigerian-born poet, is the recipient of the inaugural Brittle Paper Award for Poetry in 2017. He holds a BA in French from University of Benin, Nigeria, where he was awarded the Festus Iyayi Award for Excellence in Poetry (2015).
