Grace Wagner is a queer, nonbinary poet and artist living with a disability in Houston, TX where they teach at the University of Houston. They are an Assistant Poetry Editor at Gulf Coast, a position they held previously at Copper Nickel. They’ve studied with Carolyn Forché, Robert Pinsky, Wayne Miller, Kevin Prufer, and Martha Serpas. Their work focuses on the anxiety of living in the Anthropocene and explores violence, whether interpersonal, psychological, or ecological.
