Jingyu Li was born in Beijing, China. She immigrated to the states at the age of three and grew up in Wyoming with her younger brother. She graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and now resides in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is interested in myth and metamorphoses in her poetry. Her work appears in Okay Donkey and Humble Pie Mag. Her self published zines in collaboration with her friend Holly Zhou use visual poetry and collage to give new meaning to found material. She loves dogs of all sizes and her favorite food is hotpot.
